Among the enchanting aura of Whitby Castle in Rye, NY, Ashley and Spyros crafted a wedding day that was not just a celebration of love but a reflection of their vibrant personalities. As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing a day filled with laughter, emotions, and the kind of fun that leaves an everlasting imprint.

The festivities began with a first look under the overhanging willow tree on the wedding venue property, setting the stage for a day where Ashley and Spyros weren't afraid to be themselves—goofy, lively, and full of life. The August sun added its warmth to a ceremony that was not only visually stunning but emotionally charged. Spyros' father's emotional walk down the aisle with his son became a poignant moment. Everything was magnified by the beautiful floral floor arch that surrounded the bride and groom.

The venue, adorned with classic white florals and black bridal party attire, resonated with a chic and timeless style. The couple's attention to detail was evident, creating an atmosphere that exuded sophistication against the backdrop of Whitby Castle.

The reception was nothing short of a party. In keeping with Greek tradition, money was joyously thrown during their first dance as newlyweds—a lively spectacle that added to the celebration. To elevate the fun quotient, custom sunglasses, adorned with their last names and wedding year, became the talk of the night. The guests couldn't get enough, a testament to the couple's unique and playful approach to their special day.
